Technical FAQ
- Q. Does Pen Drive Manager copy the Recycled and System Volume Information folders on my pen drive?
A. If these folders have the Hidden attribute set, they are not copied.
- Q. My removable pen drive shows up as in Windows explorer as a fixed disk. Will Pen Drive Manager work with this drive?
A. Yes. Pen drive Manager will still work if it shows as a fixed drive as long as the drive is less than 1GB in size.
- Q. Why has Pen Drive Manager started making duplicates of the contents of my pen drive upon every synchronisation?
- A. If the drive is set to copy all files to a new subfolder, this is by design. However, if set to synchronise drive and folder contents you should change the local folder you are synchronising to as folders previously created with the copy all files to a new subfolder setting will be included when synchronising and will be copied to the pen drive.
