DivX Radium Player 6.1.1 Beta

DivX Radium Player is a a brand-spankin new update that brings a whole new spectrum of functionality to the venerable DivX Player.

It includes Integrated burning, Media Management and Download Management.

DivX codec is based on the MPEG-4 compression standard. This codec can reduce an MPEG-2 video (DVD format) to ten percent of its original size. DivX is a digital video compression technology based on the ISO MPEG-4 standard.

Here are some key features of "DivX Radium Player":

Integrated Burning

The DivX Player can now burn .divx files and DivX AVIs direct to disk.
Burning supports multiple files at once and CD-R or DVD-R media.

Media Management

The DivX Player now includes media management functionality to help
organize your video collection. Keep track of videos and create
'collections' of related content.

Download Management

The player is now able to field multiple download requests and reflect
their status within a management interface. You can sort your queue of
pending downloads and they will download in order. Only the topmost
file will be actively downloading at any one time. All download
functionality will be available including pause, auto-resume, and
progressive playback. Downloads can be in .divx or .avi format and be
hosted on any http server.

Includes new DivX 6.1 decoder

The DivX 6.1 decoder is included for improved playback performance and
video quality. Fixes outstanding issues with brightness and contrast
settings.
